Falla Tio Pep

We designed a sequence of lights inspired by the poems of the Valencian poet Vicent Andrés Estellés, which were projected on the figures of the Falla, using PAR LEDs connected with DMX and Artnet protocol, in synchronization with the poet's poems. With the help of TouchDesigner, we managed to create a self-sufficient system that automatically turned the installation on and off, ensuring its smooth operation throughout the event.

And we didn't stop there. We also brought the experience to augmented reality, adding images that represented the history of the Falla, the Plaza de la Reina and Valencia in the time of Estellés.

And to our joy, the Falla Tio Pep, designed by Virginia Lorente and created by the artist Ricardo Alcaide, received the third prize for Experimental Fallas. It was a true honor to have been part of this project and work alongside true professionals.
